Summer Activities and Resources
Summer is the time to explore the outdoors and take learning beyond the classroom. Exploring nature, visiting the local library, and engaging in hands-on experiences can ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity in learners of all ages. Click on the following link for resources such as libraries, parks, and museums across the greater Los Angeles area. Summer Meal Program
The District offers the Summer Food Service Program to provide nutritious meals to students during the summer months. The program will operate from June 22 to July 20, with some sites starting June 15. - Meals served to children must be eaten on the school site campus.
- Meals are for children18 years of age and younger.
- No adult meals or parent pick-up are allowed.

Summer School is Here! Register Today
Register for Summer of Learning from June 22 to July 20, which is available to LAUSD students. We have plenty of TK-12 programs, including credit recovery, college-readiness classes, fun enrichment courses, after-school programs, and healthy meals. Arts, board games, and e-sports programs are also offered. Enroll in our enrichment camps, which are offered in two sessions: June 15-18 and July 21-24.

Request 2026-27 School Bus Transportation
To meet transportation demands, transportation requests must be completed by June 26. Visit https://www.lausd.org/schoolbus for step-by-step instructions on how to request transportation services for the 2026-27 school year via LAUSD’s Parent Portal. If you’ve already made a request or if your child is currently receiving Special Education transportation, no further action is needed.CAASP and ELPAC Student Score Reports Now Available in the Parent Portal
The 2025-26 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Student Score Reports (SSRs) are now available in the LAUSD Parent Portal. These reports provide an overview of your child’s progress, strengths, and growth. Events listed in this newsletter are intended for families of Los Angeles Unified School District.
